NOW HIRING ORDER SELECTORS

Mitchell Grocery Corporation is proud to announce a new pay structure for the entry level position of Order Selector.   New order selectors will start with a training pay rate of $12 per hour. After completing a comprehensive training period, employees can earn $14 per hour or more based on production.  There is also flexible scheduling to give our employees a better work life balance.

This new pay rate is in addition to our comprehensive benefits package that includes BC/BS of Alabama health insurance at affordable single and family rates.  Mitchell Grocery has an on-site medical clinic that is for exclusive use by our employees, employee spouses, and dependents at no charge! Retirement with profit sharing, disability, and life insurance are all available as part of our compensation package.

Order Selectors are responsible for gathering product ordered by our customers and organizing the product for shipment.  Once hired, the employee is assigned a production number and once this number is reached, the employee will receive an automatic $2 per hour raise.  In addition, order selectors can bid on other positions in the warehouse including lift drivers, loaders, and dock receiving.  In addition, Mitchell strives to promote from within so employees with initiative and leadership potential will have an opportunity to move into leadership roles within the company.
